EMS predicts further growth in 2011 as it celebrates record year

Marketing roadshow specialist Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) is celebrating the New Year with £2.2m of new business in the bag already and confirmation that 2010 was its best year ever.

EMS’ winning year - its tenth as a niche provider of vehicle-based marketing roadshows, was marked by a record £5m turnover, and an impressive list of contracts with major corporate brands including Barclays, Sky and 20th Century Fox.

Business wins for the New Year include pan-European roadshows for new clients, including technology brands IBM and Ciena, and repeat business from long-standing clients Infinera and the British Heart Foundation.

During 2010 EMS partnered with several communication agencies on a series of highly successful employee engagement initiatives – notably a worldwide internal communications campaign with agency The Bank for Astra Zeneca.

The specialist healthcare division went from strength to strength and entered the new year with new contracts with NHS Greenwich and Powys Teaching Health Board.

EMS’ roadshow reach has continued internationally – they exhibited in 27 countries last year alone, and the company is exploring new markets in Asia.

“The European market is exploding for us,” says EMS Managing Director Keith Austin.

“Despite tough times for the economy, vehicle-based roadshows are in more demand than ever. Last year we pushed all boundaries and delivered some ambitious international campaigns with cutting edge design and highly interactive on-board experiences. Our clients are reaping the rewards and recognising the power of roadshows for face-to-face engagement with international audiences.”
