We’ve continued to be huge advocates of corporate social responsibility (CSR). As well as recognising the business benefits that it brings in terms of strengthening our offering to customers and building a positive place to work, we also enjoy the fun factor as well as having the opportunity to be a positive part of the community.

For all of these reasons we’re proud to announce our latest CSR initiative. A commitment to supporting local charity Cheshire Young Carers, which has been providing high quality support for young carers since 1997.

Cheshire Young Careers consult with young carers and their families, listening to what they need, to ensure the provision of specialist support and advice. Over the last five years the charity has supported more than 550 young carers and families, developing a range of innovative services to better meet individual needs.

Our initial donation will cover the cost to support one carer for one year. And over the coming months we are excited about planning a series of fundraising events to support this worthy cause.

This new commitment is part of our ongoing activity to provide funding to worthwhile causes such as donating money and organising employee fundraising events and activities such as sponsored runs.

But our commitment to CSR doesn’t stop at one single step. We also strive to make a difference with environmental initiatives to offset all client C02 emissions, including a local project we have been involved in over the last few years with Cheshire Wildlife Trust to turn the lake opposite our offices into a wildlife spot that the whole community can enjoy.

Showing true commitment to CSR through integrating a series of initiatives into your organisation can deliver true business benefits. And make for a happier and more rewarding working life.
