20th Century Fox used a European Blu-ray roadshow to educate and communicate the technology benefits and promote their Blu-ray releases of famous back catalogue films.
The roadshow created excitement by giving the public the opportunity to take a unique starring role in famous movie trailers and allowed them to share with friends after the event through social media.
- Visited 32 sites in 4 European countries (Germany, England, Italy and France) over 8 weeks
- Received 7,674 visitors; of those 1,851 experienced a Blu-ray product presentation and 1,918 made their own personalised movie trailer
- The green screen experience created a viral edge, visitors were able to upload their personal movie trailers to facebook (over 6,000 on-line views were recorded across the world in the first 3 months)
