Testimonial

The mobile unit pilot and three-month campaign proved to be a successful new initiative for Hidden Hearing in terms of generating awareness of hearing, hearing loss and how we can help. These initial campaigns assisted us in our decision to invest in our own mobile hearing test unit and we are confident that with the help and extensive knowledge of the EMS team, we can continue to build on the success.

Programme Description

A free five minute hearing self-check is offered to members of the public on board the mobile unit. If this check reveals a potential hearing difficulty, then a free comprehensive hearing assessment with one of Hidden Hearing’s qualified Hearing Aid Dispensers will be recommended. Again this can be carried out on board in a specially designed sound-proofed booth or an appointment can be arranged for another time either at a local Hidden Hearing branch or at home. The assessment will show the extent of any hearing loss and the Hearing Aid Dispenser can advise on what solutions would be best.

Programme Aims

Hidden Hearing estimates that about nine million people in the UK suffer from failing hearing. The mobile hearing test unit aims to generate awareness and educate people on hearing loss and the solutions available.
